Stella Elizabeth (Liz) Lewis , 69, of Crawfordsville, IN passed from us unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 27, 2019.  She was born November 27, 1949 to Archie Terry and Hattie Mae Hamm in Columbia, LA.
She was preceded in death by her parents as well as her son Christopher Terry, 51, of Morehead, KY. She is survived by 3 daughters; Sherry Boyd Terry of Morehead, Ky, Kim Kessinger (Bryan) of Crawfordsville, IN, and Lucinda Wilkins (Danielle Wright) of Peru, IL. Liz also had 6 Grandchildren; Troy Finley (Kayla),  Chelsi Thompson (Jon), Michael Terry (Samantha), Tori Terry (Alex Barber), Austin Terry, and Zach Jones (Aariel).  Her Great Grandchildren included Taylor Finley, Karter Finley, Bryer Finley, Zayne Thompson, Nate Thompson, Hayden Lewis, Teysean Terry, Gabby Terry, Braxton Barber, and Jensen Jones.
Liz had 5 surviving siblings which included Gwen Wiggins (Jerry) of Little River, SC; Benny Terry of Davao City, Philippines; Charles Terry of Long Beach, CA; Walter Terry of Louisiana; and Janet Sheline of Las Vegas, NV.
Liz was the pillar of our family. Her humor and sarcastic wit got us through so many hard times in life and will serve us well in this time of grief as we have lost a very special soul. She was always willing to go above and beyond to provide for her family even if it meant sacrifice for herself. She taught us to be hard working and respectful and we are better people because of her. She will always be in our hearts.
