Date Of Death: February 10, 2005

Bessie Mae Beaver77, of Indianapolis, died Thursday, February 10, 2005. Bessie was a faithful member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Lawrence, Indiana. She touched everyone around her with a kindred grace and loving spirit. Bessie loved her family dearly and let the Light of Jesue shine from within her heart. She was a perfect example of a Godly Christian mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her children, John I. Beaver, Jr., of Atlanta, GA., Terry A Huttelmayer, Indianapolis, And Robert H. Beaver of Brownsburg, IN; 16 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; her sister, Velma Schafroth of Bourbonnais, IL. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 14, 2005 at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 10701 E. 56th. Street, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Services will be held on Tuesday, February 15, 2005 at 11:00 AM at the church. Burial will follow at Oaklandon Cemetery.

    Hi Velma and family – so sorry to read in Kankakee Journal about your sister Bessie. I remember her and of course, you and John were in my class. My sympathy to all.

    There isn’t enough space to write what Granndma truly meant to all those around her. The Lord has received a well decorated soldier!
