I think one of the memories of when I was younger was when I got to go to a baseball game that Danny was in and about a third of the game someone hit a pop up straight above Danny’s head and the sun was right in his eyes and the ball came down and got his collar bone.He was taken out of the game and away to the hospital. He was just brused but, That was the first and last baseball game I got to go too.Our Mom enjoyed watching his basketball games. So I would go with her to a few of them. He was a great athlete in many sports. Seem like everyone loved Big D He will be truely missed by all that knew him… I love you Danny even though I didn’t say it near enough. See you again someday.

Danny was my uncle; one of my favorite memories is when I was in high school and Danny was stationed in Indianapolis at Fort Ben. I was in a vocal competition and he did not have to come but he was there for moral support – I was proud that he showed up to hear me sing but I think it made me more nervous. But I was still happy he came…just to hear his niece sing. Thanks Danny

    The White Chariot

During your journey on your final flight home.
White wings will carry you and you will be flown.
To the pearly gates of Heaven, where they will usher you in.
To the feet of your Lord, your Saviour, and your friend.
He will hold you in his arms and the angels will sing.
As another one of His children is delivered by white wings.

Dad was always trying to be one of the kids….most of the time mom had three sons, not just me and Robert. Dad and mom both say the boys as their pride and joy….eventhough all the friends saw them as mom and dad….that’s a lot of kids…TRUST ME. Dad taught me how to swing a bat, and how to respect my elders….mom said how to throw a football as well. I would like to send thanks to all that were able to attend the services and to those that have and will keep us in their prayers and thoughts. I can still hear dad yelling at us kids for doing something wrong…eventhough most of the time he started it. “Dad I’ll keep checking the oil in the car. And that left front tire, too.” Hope to see YOU again. By the way I’m the one that still has to look at him in the mirror everyday for the rest of my life……The oldest! That’s the best thing he could have left me.
