Geneva Bailey Lee Ferge, 85, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on April 15, 2005 surrounded by friends and family at home. She was born on May 13, 1919 in Dryden, Virginia to James and Louisa Bailey. Fifth of twelve children, she is preceded in death by her husband, Dean Delbert Ferge; son, Donald Ferge; sisters Nora (Edith) Bailey, Duskie Bailey, Inez Bailey Huff, Virginia Bailey; brothers Frank Bailey, Howard Bailey, Major Bailey, James Bailey and grandson, Steven Blaine Vanderpool. There is where she met her husband Dean and started a family which grew and that will carry on for generations. She was a headstrong, independent woman who lived life to the fullest. Her loves in life included her family, reading, and a good cup of coffee. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to Charmaign, Theresa, and Judy of Vistacare who provided passionate care throughout Geneva’s illness. She will be missed dearly. We love you Mom, Grandma, and Great Grandma. Memorial Contributions may be hade to the Vistacare Foundation.

    To Our Grandmother,
You will be forever loved and sadly missed. I will always treasure our memories together. You were always the best hair french braider I know of. Brandi and I would just prance up and down Oaklandon thinking we had the coolest of hair-do’s.

    Love Always
    Your Granddaughter, Sherry
