She was born June 7, 1900 in Chicago, IL, to Arthur Manger, Sr. and Maude Manger.Gracie loved the Chicago Tribune and followed world and local news with much interest. She enjoyed sewing, millinery, bridge, cooking, and keeping up with her family and friends.She was a member of the Flossmoor Women’s Club and the Indiana Republican Women’s S.C.O.R.E. Club.
