Date Of Death: April 18, 2007

James Luton Rippon, 82, of Indianapolis, passed away on April 18, 2007 in Indianapolis.He was born in 1924 in Westville, Illinois to James and Hazel Rippon.He served his country honorably as a Marine in WWII.He loved to bowl, fishing, NASCAR races, baseball, football, and basketball. He was a die-hard Bears and Cubs fan.He is survived by is beloved wife of 57 years, Irma;Children:Cindy, and Elizabeth;Grandchildren:Kimberley, Sandra, James, Christina, Ashley, Courtney, Austin, Paige, Olivia; Great-grandchildren Jeffrey, Victoria, Veronica, ViancaGreat-great grandchild ZackariahHe was preceded in death by his parents, children James and Georgia, two brothers and one sister, and Granddaughter Sherry.At his request, no services will be held.

    Grandpa I will always love and miss you so much. Mom will miss you more and so will me and Austin and Ashley so much. We love you and we will miss you more then ever grandpa I love you. I MISS YOU. Now you are in a better place I know but you still did not have to go you could have stayed here with all of us but you choose to go and I know that everytime me or Austin or Ashley talked to you your heart rate went up more and more but after we got off the phon eit dropesd and that was not fair you should still be here to this day it will take some time to stop crying but I won’t stop at all.
    I LOVE YOU MORE THEN EVER.

    I didn’t know him personaly. But I do know his grandaughter. She loved him alot and I know he will be greatly missed. He was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him! May you rest with GOD in his heavenly arms.

    James was a descent human being with good old fashion values.Granted he had a very firm side but always a kinder side.He was respected as well as loved.He was a provider,hardworker and a wonderfull man.We should remember him for his values and the influence he left behind it was a good and wholesome lesson to learn.I will miss him good night james we love you.

    Roses are red vilets are blue I wish you where here and so do you,
    you never should have gone until it was time,
    you where a good grandpa at all times,
    you where a good friend and a good bestfriend you always cared you always loved evryone you cared about now you are happy you feel no more pain I always think of you each and everyday.
    Grandpa I love you more and more day by day you never should have gone it was not right you should still be here today instead of there but you are in a better place now and you are looking down on each and everyone.
    The Sunday School deticated a book to you.
    Grandpa I love you and I will always live you to this day and everyday.
