Selvege (deceased), died, June 3, 1005 at Community North Hospital.James was born December 12, 1934 to the late John Brink and Christina Selvege in Houtzdale, PA.James enlisted in the United States Army on July 27, 1953 and retired in 1976 at Fort Benjamin Harrison, Indianapolis, IN after servicng his country for 23 years, achieving the rank of Sergeant.James was a member of the Veterans of Foreign War since 1958. Until his death, he remained active in Post 261, serving through the chairs, and as Post Commander. He also served as the Eleventh District Commander 1999-2000.Five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren also survive.
