June Alene Cole, 80, of Spencer, passed away, Monday, May 28th, 2007 at her residence. She was born June 19, 1926 in Fisher, IL to Fred and Emma Mae Crozier. She was a Registered Nurse and worked for 20 years at the VA Hospital in Chicago and retired after 20 years at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. She was married to James R. Cole for 25 years.June is survived by her daughters, Sarah Cole (Keith Erny) and Susan Brown (Jim); seven grandchildren, and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James R., and sister, Lucille Stuebe. Funeral service will be Saturday, June 2 at 1:00 p.m. at Harry Moore Family Mortuary, 8151 Allisonville Rd, Indianapolis, with visitation from 11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Internment will be at 4:00 p.m. at the Masonic Cemetery in Delphi, IN. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wheeler Mission or Child Evangelism Fellowship, c/o work of the Flamings.
