While I don’t believe we served at the same command together, Builder Chief Randel M. MESSERSMITH is still a brother goat and will be missed by the goatlocker mess. I salute Randy a brother Chief.

    My sympathy to your family. I enjoyed working with Randy. He shared stories with me about the Navy. But I think the stories he enjoyed sharing the most were about his family. He was especially proud of his grandchildren.
    I’ll miss him.
