Ruby M. AllenIndianapolis, died peacefully on Friday, November 25, 2005. She was born and grew up in Worthington, Indiana. She worked in the Office of the Controller at the Ft. Harrison Finance Center in Lawrence, retiring in 1973. She kept active in retirement working as a hostess at Harry W. Moore Funeral Chapels. She was very active in the following community organizations; Past Noble Grand of Welcome, Rebekah Lodge 478, State President of Rebekah Assemblies of Indiana in 1991, Past Matron of Eastern Star 348 and Lawrence Sunrise Kiwanis. Ruby was a lifelong member of the Graphoanalysts Society of Chicago and a Certified Document Examiner for the courts. She is survived by nieces, Suzanne Mikalsen (Ted), Cathy Taylor (Randy) and Christine Shepler (Pat); nephew, Marcus W. Allen (Sue); several great-nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 pm with Rebekah Lodge service at 6 pm and Eastern Star service at 6:20 pm on Friday, December 2, 2005 at Indiana Funeral Care, Harry Moore Lawrence Chapel. A memorial service will be at 10 am on Saturday, December 3, 2005 at Westminister Village North, 11050 Presbyterian Drive, Main Building. Burial will follow at Worthington Cemetery, Worthington, IN. on Saturday at 1:30 pm. She will be greatly missed by the staff of Harry Moore Family Mortuaries.
