William(Bill) E. Ford, 70, of Indianapolis, died October 18, 2003 after a long stay at Community Hospital East. Bill was retired from Westvaco-Mead Envelope Division where he worked as a machine adjuster and also served as local union president for Local 1047, United Paper Workers International Union AFL-CIO-CLC. Bill was also a member of Sunnyside Road Baptist Church (Eastern Heights) for 31 years, then transfered his membership to Marwood Baptist Church after moving in 2000. Survivors include his wife of 49 years Eleanor Francis (Watson)Ford, a daughter Vickie L. Rutledge and Husband John Paul Rutledge of Brownsburg; a son Paul D. Ford and wife Nicole Armbruster Ford of Indianapolis; four grandchildren, Darrel Jern, Sammantha Ford, Skyeler Ford and Katie Rutledge, 3 brothers Lloyd Ford of Mooresville, Charles Ford of Indianapolis and Walter Ford of Sparkman, Arkansas.Memorial contributions may sent to the Arthritis Foundation Indiana Chapter, 8646 Guion Road, Indianapolis, IN 46268
