Charles “Charlie” Andrew Neagle, 80, of Noblesville, IN passed away on Friday March 15, 2019 peacefully with his family by his side.
Charlie was born on December 4, 1938 in Boston, MA to Charles H. and Dorothy E. Neagle. He was a 1958 graduate of North Quincy High School. On May 14, 1966 Charlie married the love of his life Marie. In 1988 Charlie and his family moved to Spring Hill, Fl. where he lived for 18 years before retiring to Noblesville, IN.
Charlie never met a stranger he didn’t like. He had a great passion for trivia with history, geography, and sports being his specialty. Everyone who knew Charlie learned that his greatest passion in life besides his family, was Boston sports, in particular The New England Patriots. He enjoyed the simple things in life such as fall foliage, warm sunshine, watching a game with a cold beer, old movies, snuggling with his sweet cat of 18 years, Chloe, and any opportunity for a road trip.
Charlie is survived by his wife Marie D. Neagle, daughter Patricia (Richard) Copenhaver of Noblesville IN, son Christopher Neagle of Rutland MA, daughter Jennifer (Robert) Webster of Noblesville IN, daughter Elizabeth (Charles) Stapf of Wentzville MO. His grandchildren, CJ, Nick, Michael, Katie, Sarah, Andrew, Alex, Aiden, Samantha and Libby. He recently became a great grandpa to baby Arya. He is also survived by his brother Brian (Brenda) Neagle of Raynham MA. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Dorothy of Quincy MA, sister Marie Sullivan and her husband Robert of Hampton NH.
Just 12 short days after Charlie’s passing, Marie joined him in Heaven.
The family will host a Celebration of Life for both Charlie and Marie on Saturday, April 4, 2019 at Indiana Funeral Care, 8151 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis. A visitation will be held from 12 p.m. until the time of service at 2 p.m.

    He will be greatly missed.
He always had the answers to all the trivia questions and could have been a professor in history or geography. When people rode with him they always got a free lesson. Love and prayers for Marie and all of you. The Hunters

So sorry to hear of your Dad’s passing Elizabeth. Even though I didn’t know him he sounds like a wonderful man. He had to be cause he sure raised a beautiful, sweet, caring daughter Elizabeth.

My heart goes out to all of you. I will remember Charlie for always having the answers to any question that was asked of him. He always smiled when he would come home and see Marie. We would sit down with us and talk during our long coffee “klotch” time. He will certainly be missed.
