My sympathy to the family. I was a past student of his at Rosevelt Elementary (1977-81), Mr. Reed (as we all called him of course) was one of my pleasant memories of that school – great mentor and person. We were blessed to have him as a principal.

Praying for your family in this time of loss. I have very fond memories of Mr Reed as a principal. He made sure every student felt important. Loved the time he went up on the roof.
Was always amazed even in high school at the football games when I said hi he still knew my name.
May the memories that bring joy in times of sorrow. Praying for the family

    Reed Family,

Charlie was my JV football coach when he first came to Lakeshore. Later he was principal when my children went to Roosevelt Elementary and Sharon had the privilege of being on the school board during his tenure at Roosevelt. Our family have all loved and respected Charlie Reed for his dedication and service to educating children. We will miss his guidance.

Dan and Sharon Deja and our family.

    Dear Mariel, Kelley and Jeff,
We were so saddened to hear of Tuffy’s passing. Though we weren’t able to connect too often, I have fond memories of his wonderful laugh, sense of humor and discussions about education. We send our sympathy to all of you at this time and hope that your memories will help you through this difficult time.
    Love,
    Nan (Jill) Kember and family

Tuff and I were friends in high school and graduated in 1949. We also enlisted in the navy together and both went in on March 5th 1951 and went to boot camp in San Diego. Parted after boot camp and went separate ways. A few years ago while visiting my son in Evanston, Illinois visited with his brother Jack and caught up with him at that time. Many good times together in HS and he was always a positive influence. Know your family will miss him.
    Sincerely, Jim Myers
