Charles William Snyder, age 71, died on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 in his home in Indianapolis.

He was born November 14, 1946, in Indianapolis, Indiana, the son of Marjorie and Von Snyder.

Charles was a very hard worker and thrived in his academics, he attended Park School and from there went to get his degree at Coe College. After graduating in 1969, he opened a classical music store in broad ripple called Grammophone Shoppe. He later moved to California and worked at a optical company there in Del Mar. Years later he found himself coming back to Indianapolis to care for his mother. His heart was always in the arts and theatre, so when he came back to his home of Indianapolis he went to work for the Civic Theatre for 23 years.

Charles took great pride in his home and yard. He was very honored to have recieved the Certifcate of Appreciation by the Smithsonian Institution for his beautiful yard, in addition his yard was even was presented in the Indianapolis Monthly Magazine.

Charles loved many things, but had most of his love for his animals, friends and family. When it came his time to go he was surrounded by those he loved most, Charles will always be in our hearts and missed dearly.

My deepest sympathies to the Snyder family. I am very sorry for your loss. I know that your family is mourning the loss of a dear loved one. This indeed is a very painful time. Please accept my sympathies. Rest assured that our loving God, Jehovah is certainly aware of how you’re feeling. In His Word, the Bible, he promises to raise up our dear loved ones through the beautiful hope of a resurrection. (Acts 24:15) May “the God of comfort” give you the strength to get through the days ahead. (2 Corinthians 1:3,4)
