Donald Gene Curtis, age 77, of Wilkinson, Indiana passed away January 17th 2019 at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield, Indiana. He was born August 19th 1941 in Maysville, Kentucky to Robert and Ella Mae Curtis. Donald was an amazing husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend to many people. Back in 1997 he fell on a job site for local 22 iron workers union that paralyzed him but he never let it keep him down. Anyone who knew him was in awe of his capabilities. Like working on cars, helping his neighbors, or cutting down trees which drove his family crazy. Donald’s marriage of 55 years was to his loving wife Ann Curtis, they were inseparable until she passed away in 2016. He is survived by his son Don Jr.  of  Wilkinson, Indiana; daughter, Pam Curtis (husband: Randy Gray) of  Wilkinson, Indiana; grandkids, Damon Gray of Rensselaer, Indiana, McKenzie Gray of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Tyler Gray of Morrocco, Indiana; sisters, Brenda (Gary) Mastin Punta of Gordy, Florida she became a great supporter in our time of need, Ruby Hitt of Brooksville, Kentucky, and Linda Curtis Augusta; brothers, Tommy Curtis of Maysville, Kentucky and Bill Curtis of Maysville, Kentucky; and many in laws, nieces, nephews, and very special friends John Jones, Bob Hall, Clarence Chriswell, Chuck Wright and so many more. Proceeded in death by his wife, parents, brothers; Leo, Norman, and Darrell. Services will be at the Wilkinson Church of Christ February 2nd 2019, 2-4 p.m. visitation, 4 p.m. services, no burial until spring. Donnie, Pam & family , Sorry to hear about the passing of your dad, he was a really great guy. I remember him riding his motorcycle at papaw Hickles . We had some great times together with your mom , dad . Mike thought a lot of him, will always cherish the memories playing in the creek and on the old swinging bridge at papaw Hickles. He is with Ann now, and all their other loved ones. May God be with you, Donnie and your family.

Your dad helped me so much after my mom died. He was so great to me and my dad through many years. He danced with me at my wedding when my dad was already gone. I have so many great memories of him and his love for me and dad. I will remember him always with so much love. Sending prayers and my love to you and your family.
