Linda Lou Van Sickle, 66, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away peacefully on September 3, 2019. She was married to William (Bill) Van Sickle. She is survived by her husband, her son Christopher Van Sickle and his wife Tara (VanCauwenbergh) Van Sickle, their children Emerson, Jagger, and Elliott. And her son Nicholas Van Sickle, his wife Jennifer (Broski) Van Sickle, and their son Colton. She is preceded in death by her father, Herbert (Hoover) Brewington, and her brother-in-law Clark Sayer. Other survivors include her mother, Mary (Smith) Miller, her step-father Clifford Miller, her sisters Debra Brewington, Sandy Brewington, and Julie Brewington and her husband Bill Beasley, and her brother Arnold Brown and his wife Susie Brown.

Linda was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was a devoted wife and a loving mother. In lieu of graduating from high school, Linda stayed home and helped her mother to care for her sisters. She met her husband in 1974. When her sons were born, she stayed home to raise them. She began a 12 year career with Kroger when the boys went to school, and was quickly promoted to front end supervisor. Linda loved to spend time with her family, take care of her dog Tiffany, and play video games.

Linda was a selfless, supportive, and caring woman. She loved her children (and dogs) fiercely and never let them know when she was struggling. She always put herself last and would give her loved ones the last dollar she had if they needed it. She will be greatly missed and loved forever.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 9, 2019 at Indiana Funeral Care – Greenwood Chapel, 2433 East Main Street, Greenwood, Indiana 46143.
