Marion S. Bickett Johnson, departed this life on Wednesday, May 29, 2019. She was born on July 13, 1935 to the late George and Iprema Bickett.
She was employed by Xerox and Indiana Bell for several years until she retired. Marion was a loving, caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother.
Marion leaves to cherish her memory, sons Wendell Lewis, Edward Rodgers, Kevin Lewis, Elmer Johnson, Fred Johnson and daughter Sharon Lewis. She also left great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
She is preceded in death by two sons, parents George and Iprema Bickett, brothers Kermit Dunn and George Bickett, and sister Faynell Bickett.
Funeral service will be at Indiana Funeral Care, 8151 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, IN 46250 on Monday, June 3, 2019 at 1:30 pm. Visitation will be from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm. Burial to follow at Sutherland Park Cemetery, Indianapolis, IN.

Something that always helps me when facing situations like these, is the scripture at Revelation 21:4, where it says “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” I’m sure you can understand why that helps me. I sincerely hope it can help you too.
