I met Mark through the Hoosier Canoe and Kayak Club. He was one of the friendliest and most welcoming people I paddled with. He made me feel welcomed from the day I met him and always said hi and talked to me every time we met at a club paddle. I will miss him on the water. I will pray that God will give you the strength you need as you navigate through these difficult times. Please receive my condolences for your huge loss.

Mark was indeed friendly and affable, and a gentle spirit. The rivers- and paddling-communities will much miss his good nature and helpful contributions.
