On Wednesday, January 23, 2019, Steven Lloyd Ferry Sr., loving husband, father,grandfather passed away at the age of 60.

Steve was born on January 15,1959 in Indianapolis,Indiana to John and Mona(Wilson) Ferry. He joined the Army in 1978 and served until 1984. On April 03,1980 he married Teresa Ann Day. They raised two children together, Steven and Brenda.

Steve had a passion for the great outdoors. He loved to fish, camp with his family and ride his motorcycle. He loved to spend time with his children and grandchildren.He also enjoyed watching the Colts play. He was known for his quick wit, hard work ethic and his kind and compassionate spirit. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and was remembered by all who met him.

Steve was preceded in death by his mother Mona, father John,his son Mark Allen Ferry and also his great niece Lexie Ferry. He is survived by his two children Steven (Shenna) and Brenda (Mike), his five grandchildren Lydia, Evan,Jilliann,Alex and Max. Two brothers Mike (Teresa) Rob (Angie), his sister Susie (Damon) and several nieces and nephews and cousins.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 26,2018. Viewing services from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Crossroads Baptist Church located at 1120 S. Arlington Ave.,Indianapolis, In 46203. Burial will follow at McCray Cemetery 7500 N.State Road 109, Wilkinson,Indiana 46186
