Thomas J. Wikel, Jr. was born on October 3, 1970 to Thomas Sr and Wanda Wikel, both of whom preceded him in death. He passed from this earthly existence to enter the heavenly realm on January 20, 2019 with his family at his side. Tom graduated from Greenfield High School in 1989.
He is survived by his loving wife, Shonna; his children Shawn Adams and Tia Wikel; Step-children, Maxwell Thomas Poole; Shaianna Easley and Darrel Jones, Breanna Easley, and Leaianna Easley. His nephews and niece and many cousins, especially Amiyah Young, and his dog Kisses who will miss him.
Tom was an avid sports fan. He loved discussing multiple sports with his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Shirley and Mark Anderson.
He particularly loved football with his favorite team being the Colts. He enjoyed following Payton Manning and Andrew Luck.
He enjoyed the Pacers and was able to attend a game in 2017 with cousins Sandy and Clay and best friend Mark Anderson.
He also loved following NASCAR and his favorite driver Kyle Bush and like to spar with his father-in-law about the ongoing race.
This fall he and Shonna were fortunate to travel to Chicago to see a Cubs baseball game courtesy of the Dream Foundation.
He was employed by Wilco Gutter Supply for 17 years and enjoyed the company of his many co-workers
Visitation will be at Indiana Funeral Care (2433 East Main St.; Greenwood, IN) on Friday, January 25, 2019 from 5:00-7:00 PM with memorial service at 7:00 PM with Pastor Stephen Wood officiating.
